Formed over a decade ago Razorwire are releasing their third album ‘Wrapped In Lies’ their first album with new vocalist Dave Scragg Razorwire complete with their underground ethnics this album seems set to take the bands to new heights and into the mainstream.

Opening track ‘Damage Limitation’ gives new guy Dave Scragg a chance to give everyone a full on taste of his vocal diversity delivering a gut wrenching growl that fits the band perfectly. Second track ‘False Pride’ has already hauled the band into controversy with their video featuring the band burning every current national flag in the world (view the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9efuT7R-uw). The song itself is a raucous and thought provoking track and easily one of the strongest on the album, if you want to listen to a track to get into Razorwire then ‘False Pride’ is definitely a brilliant start.

Razorwire offer in ‘Wrapped In Lies’ a truly complete album with a sound that is truly still fresh and exciting with a DIY sound which is both raw and energy filled that is so often lost on CD but Razorwire give you a true incite into what they might be like live. Everything moulds together perfectly from the wailing guitars to the constant pounding drums.

‘Wrapped In Lies’ can truly be the album to propel Razorwire forward and Razorwire can certainly do that as they are one of the hardest working bands in the UK. So pick up ‘Wrapped In Lies’ you won’t regret it and very quickly will become one of your favourite albums.

The first 1000 people to buy the album get a bonus DVD featuring all of Razorwire’s videos and unreleased tour footage.
